The electrolytic coatings of Nickel give a characterisitic resemblance to high quality steel.

The Nickel hardness is in the range of 180-200 Hv and superior to metallurgical Nickel.

It is resistant to atmospheric attack, and to many chemical attacks.

It is also very ductile, permitting application on components which are subsequently subjected to bending, resisting any traction or compression without risk of rupture.

Furthermore, the excellent resistence of Nickel to corrosion by erosion and fretting, has been proved on a wide range of materials.
